Marseillan Town centre and port A lovely fishing village on the Mediteranean coast
Former Phocaean city, Marseillan has preserved the authentic charm of this fishing village nested amongst vineyards, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Thau basin. The Roman vestiges remind us of the history of Marseillan to ancient times. The old streets of the village and their heritage made up of old bourgeois houses and beautifully decorated porches bear witness to this rich past.
The port reminds us of Marseillan’s fishering village past. It is lovely to wander around or to make the most of a restaurant terrace to taste a fish dish.
Today, Marseillan is lovely seaside town bordered by 6 kilometres of beautiful beaches ideal for bathing and relaxing.
