We are committed to protecting your personal data and ensuring a high level of protection in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of Personal Data (RGPD) and the French Data Protection Act no. 78-17 as amended (hereinafter together referred to as the “Regulations”).

As such, you will find below our privacy policy which aims to provide you with information on how we collect and use your personal data in the course of our activities. It applies to the website www.camping-robinson.com (hereinafter “the site”).

  1. Who is responsible for processing your personal data?

It is referred to herein as “we”, “us” or “our”.

In our capacity as data controller, we determine the purposes for which your personal data is processed and the means of processing used.

We may collect information, some of which may identify you and constitute personal data. We only collect personal data that is strictly necessary for the purposes pursued in accordance with the principle of minimization. We ensure the security and confidentiality of this information, as well as proportionate storage (or storage in accordance with legal requirements).

  • Customer reservation, billing and payment data: data relating to the reservation of a stay (amount, dates, type of pitch, your preferences if you wish (leisure activities, etc.), etc.), date of payment, means of payment;
  • Data relating to a reservation via a social and economic committee, if applicable; such as: company name, identifier.
  • Data relating to our exchanges: correspondence
  • Prospecting data for sending our offers (with your consent)

We only collect the personal data necessary to meet the purposes set out below. The mandatory nature of personal data is indicated at the time of collection.

We do not trade in your personal data.

If we transmit personal data to one of the above-mentioned third parties, we do not transmit any data that is not necessary for the purpose of the transmission.

  1. How is the security of your personal data ensured?

We attach particular importance to the security of your data, ensuring that it is stored in conditions that guarantee its integrity, availability and confidentiality, and we implement appropriate technical and organizational measures in accordance with regulations. These measures include practices such as :

  • Restrict access to data to employees with an operational need,
  • Carry out the necessary encryption and ensure secure transmission,
  • Delete data at the end of its retention period.

In addition, if a subcontractor is used for one or more personal data processing operations, the latter must contractually commit to ensuring appropriate and proportionate security measures.

In the event of a personal data breach, we will take all necessary steps to notify the CNIL within the legal deadline of 72 hours, and will take measures to limit the risks.

  1. How long are your personal data stored?

We may store your personal data for the following periods:

  • Up to 5 years after a reservation (in any case for the applicable statutory limitation period);
  • Up to 10 years for our invoices in accordance with regulations;
  • For commercial prospecting, if applicable: up to 3 years from the last contact;
  • Video surveillance images: for the time needed to verify them and, in the event of evidential requirements, for the time needed to process them (judicially if necessary)
  • Cookies: 13 months.
  1. Are your personal data transferred to third countries?

We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Union; should our service providers nevertheless be located outside the EU, we ensure that the transfer is made to a country whose level of protection has been judged adequate by the European Commission, and failing that, within the framework of standard contractual clauses (SCC) for upgrading protection.

  1. What are your rights regarding your personal data?

In accordance with the RGPD, you have several rights to your data:

– Right of access (you can find out whether we hold any personal data about you and obtain a copy in an understandable format);

– Right to erasure (you can ask us to erase your data under certain conditions, as this is not an absolute right);

– Right to restrict processing (you have the right to ask us to temporarily freeze the use of your data in certain cases);

– Right to object (you may object at any time, for reasons relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data);

– Right to portability (you can recover your data for personal use in a structured format or to transmit them, for example, to another online service that can offer new services);

– Right to define post-mortem directives (you have the possibility of defining directives concerning the fate of personal data after your death).
