Cap d'Agde Ephèbe museum Mediterranean archaeological wealth
The Ephèbe museum, in Cap d'Agde, holds beautiful submarine archaeological collections uncovered during excavations in the delta of the Hérault, either in the sea or the Thau basin. The museum owes its name to its main piece, a beautiful bronze Hellenistic style statue. A unique discovery in French waters. The museum’s collections present sunken treasures: amphorae, armament, works of art, etc. of various origins: Etruscan, Greek, Roman, Celtic, Spanish, Italian, etc.
